"I liked it till the guy started singing" began the classic review of 'Trans*end'.
Thus spoke Janis Garza (THEN: editor of American Rock magazine, "Rip". NOW : biographer of Lemmy Motorhead).
She went on: "His voice doesn't match the music. I don't know who should be singing this but someone who's not so whiny. Real rock'n'roll dudes don't whine. Inger Lorre from the Nymphs should be singing this. I liked the wall-of-guitar sound however."
