you've forgotten two bands that would be close to the top of both god and john peel's playlists; the brilliant captain beefheart and his magic band and the undertones.
peel's favourite song was teenage kicks by the undertones, when he first heard the song it made him cry.
and john championed captain beefheart and particulaly his trout mask replica album that was heavily criticised by some yet has come to be recognised as one of the greatest and most important albums of all time.
other than these ommissions, sounds like a pretty good ipod, though im sure they'd be plenty of room for some other cool bands i.e. deerhoof, melt banana, john zorn
